PrideInn Group has partnered with government to avail rooms to quarantine incoming travelers before they return back to their homes. PrideInn group which is among selected city hotels has offered its properties as quarantine or isolation facilities during the coronavirus pandemic.

According to PrideInn Managing Director Hasnain Noorani, the hotels were requested at the very last minute for support by the government to accommodate guests on quarantine.

“Whilst we were aware that this was going to be hard work, we choose to accept amongst the first hotels as a true Kenyan patriotic Brand. It was our duty to stand up and fight against Covid19 to keep our citizens safe”, Noorani added.

The PrideInn boss however stated that hotel workers are not interacting with people quarantined in their rooms, but are preparing meals and feeding them in accordance with ministry of health guidelines.

In a statement, Noorani said ” At PrideInn, we have provided all our staffs the protective gears for their health & safety and trained them to the best. I salute them for supporting us and they are just like health workers who are supporting and working for the safety of the country and its citizens”.

Hotels chosen by the government have to follow certain guidelines on room rate which is affordable, for instance PrideInn has deliberately subsidized rates to USD 60 on Full Board in spirit of supporting the government control the spread of the deadly corona virus.
