The county government has ordered mandatory training of hairdressers and barbers against the COVID-19. This follows the demonstration by saloon owners, hairdressers  and barbers on the adverse economic effect  the ban against them is causing.

The county government of Nakuru, had ordered the closure of all  saloons and barber shops to curtail the spread of the corona virus. The sensitization sessions have today been held at the Nakuru old town hall.

According to Biashara ward MCA Peter Nyagothii , the workers will be allowed to go back to business ,if they adhere to the requirements as stipulated by WHO. Earlier in the day the beauticians demonstrated to the governors demanding audience with Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui.
