Nakuru based Menengai Oil Refineries Limited (M.O.R.L) has donated a total of one thousand four hundred (1,400) cartons of Bar Soaps to the Kenya Red Cross and Nakuru County government.

This is in a bid to help compliment the efforts by Kenya Red Cross to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic and specifically in low income areas as well as the vulnerable people across the country.

This initiative was spearheaded by M.O.R.L’s Head of Marketing, Simpson Osiemo, Kenya Red Cross Deputy Secretary General, Annette Msabeni and Nakuru County Government’s Health County Officer Samuel Kingori.
While noting that Covid-19 is a global threat and should not be left to the national and county governments to handle it alone, the Oil Refineries company said it shall endeavor to engage in partnerships that make an impact in the lives of ordinary people in the society.

It has been medically proven that one of the ways to prevent oneself from getting the coronavirus is by thoroughly washing hands with soap and water.

In total Menengai Oil Refinery Limited has donated 76,800 bars of soap to both Kenya Redcross and Nakuru County government to curb further spread of the Covid-19
