11 Kenyans have tested positive for coronavirus, in the last 24 hours, with the countrywide tally for the pandemic now standing at 208.
Giving the daily COVID 19 updates, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe said the 6 males and 5 females are all Kenyans with a history of travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). They are all aged between 1 year and 42 years.
Meanwhile, 15 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours , bringing to 40 the total number of recoveries in the country. However, one more person has succumbed to COVID 19 in Nairobi , bringing to 9 the total number of deaths in the country. 619 contacts are being followed.
Meanwhile, According to the Director General in the ministry of Health, Dr. Patrick Amoth, there are 142 COVID 19 cases countrywide, with 2 among them in the Intensive Care units.
