Catholic churches have resolved to conduct mass albeit under the observance of health guidelines to check on the safety of worshipers.
The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops has urged priests to conduct mass briefly and to exercise caution in regard to large gatherings.Faithful have been urged to keep a social distance of one meter while meeting to say mass.
The bishops in a statement have urged priests to use the forum to pass messages of hope and encouragement to the faithful and not distress.
The clergymen are also expected to avail themselves to congregants for Holy Communion outside Mass provided that it is done in church.
