Three people were critically injured when a Dreamline Express bus bound for Nairobi was hit by an empty fuel tanker on Thursday at Maji ya Chumvi, on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
The driver of the tanker was said to have lost control of the vehicle.
The injured were rushed to Mariakani Hospital for treatment.
The company said another bus had been sent to pick up the rest of the passengers.
