The memorial service of the late KCB player Tony Daniel Onyango Opondo was today held at CITAM Valley road. Family, friends and the Kenyan rugby fraternity have eulogized Tony as a respectful, hardworking and a patient Man. According to Philip Wamae KCB team manager,Tony was a player of great influence on and off the pitch.
Wamae has said that the demise of Tony as a player is great blow to the team, describing him a s a leader, mentor and an achiever. Tony has also been eulogized a s a family man who enjoyed a good laugh. The former Kenya national team collapsed and died at his Ngong residence after training with his team, KCB .
