The Central Bank of Kenya’s website has been feted as the best among regulators during the fourth annual Central Banking Awards.
“The Central Bank of Kenya’s impressive new website was the result of extensive research undertaken to ensure it met international best practices,” chairman of the Central Banking Awards Committee and editor-in-chief of Central Banking Christopher Jeffery said.
The CBK launched its new website in September last year as part of its golden jubilee celebrations. The website redesign was inspired by an increase in the number of visitors accessing the site using mobile devices.
“In the redesign, the Central Bank of Kenya took into account the fact that the website is a key channel through which the institution seeks to provide diverse audiences with timely and accurate information on its mandate and policy. The new website offers an expanded range of features.
