The business community under the umbrella of the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) has set up a Business Action platform team and is developing in the next two days a business COVID-19 action platform like other countries have done.
In a statement, KEPSA CEO Carole Karuga said the action platform will have: a 24-hour call center and portal to share business and workplace health-related information for all sectors and businesses sizes from Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to Multinationals and a framework on the economic impact of the virus and mitigation that we are collaborating with Government on.
The Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is a limited liability membership organisation registered in 2003 as the apex body of private sector in Kenya.
KEPSA is mandated to act as the voice of private sector in Kenya, and is therefore an inclusive and proactive body that provides an institutional framework for Government and private sector partnership; a facilitator for the private sector in public policy dialogue and an umbrella policy and networking institution for the private sector in Kenya; and, a promoter of public-private sector partnerships in addressing the challenges of wealth and employment creation in Kenya.
