Nyeri Diocese Archbishop Anthony Muheria has lost his mother Mary Agnes Njambi.
According to the family, the matriarch died Monday evening, May 15, 2023 at Nairobi Hospital, where she had been undergoing treatment after a long illness bravely borne.
“She was outstanding in her courage and diligence in teaching her children,” the family said.
Njambi is also the mother to immediate former Central Bank of Kenya Governor Patrick Njoroge, and 6 other children.
Njambi was a career educationist who was described as an outstanding Lay Catholic leader and community mobiliser.
