All tourists vising the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and other
conservancies in Narok county will be screened for Coronavirus.

Health Chief Officer Caro Saitoti says the move is aimed at ensuring
the virus does not spread to the county which depends on tourism.

According to Saitoti, elaborate measures have been put to ensure
residents are safe from any life threatening diseases.

Addressing the press, she assured no suspected case has been reported
in the county since when the virus was first reported.

She however urged local residents not to panic and instead observe
high standards of hygiene so as to keep the disease at bay.

Saitoti reiterated the county’s commitment to ensure locals are safe
adding that they are collaborating with the national government to
attain the goal.
