The Christ Is The Answer Ministries – CITAM Presiding Bishop Calisto Odede will on Tuesday flag off Bread of Life (BOL) campaign and Cash Transfer to drought victims in several parts of the country.
CITAM which has 29 branches on 15th October 2022, through its Bread of Life ministry, launched a drought relief response following the current drought that has affected over 5.1 million Kenyans in more than 26 counties.
“The church through it’s members and its various arms has managed to collect approximately Kshs. 8.2 Million and food donations worth Kshs 660,800,” said Rogers Wambua, the organization’s Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager.
Bishop Odede will be flagging off foodstuff at CITAM Valley Road, to about 800 people in Archers Post, Olturot, Kargi and Loyangalani areas.
He will also activate cash transfers to about 900 people in Namorputh in Turkana, Meru, Kajiado and Kilifi.
